The Government of Samoa will present to bigger nations on its security capacity and key issues during a four-day security and intelligence conference in Tokyo, Japan.
The opportunity presented by one of country’s main development partners will see Samoa join representatives from other Pacific nations, Australia, United States and Japanese security intelligence agency.
The conference will look to share and discuss means of moving forwards with security issues in the Pacific region.
The conference is hosted by the Government of Japan through Director of Cabinet Intelligence and Research Office (CIRO).
The security and intelligence conference will start of the 19th – 21st of September in Tokyo, Japan.
The participants schedule will also include events to celebrate the Rugby World Cup tournament.
